Happy 2016, you guys!! Can you believe we've made it this far? Ha! I took a quick break from the blog to relax and spend time with family over the holidays but now we're back to the grind! I hope you've been keeping up with me on Instagram and Snapchat @bruntunes.

I'm continually ever so happy and grateful for all the support and love all of you sent my way in 2015 – it was by far the best year for StyleMile (and for me!) ever. From having dinner with Lena Dunham in Hollywood, to going backstage with Meghan Trainor, to being featured in Marie Claire magazine, it's been quite a ride. I'm hoping to only go up from here! 

2016 is going to bring big things for me – mine and Pedro's wedding is less than 5 months away! Next month I'm jet-setting to an unknown location with my co-workers at Ignite Social Media. Our Mystery Trip location is only revealed at the airport! :O We all have bets – I'm mostly just hoping for sunshine and tequila.

I'm also attending NYFW for the first time in February (OMG!) so stay tuned for coverage! And in April, I'm heading down to Miami with my besties for my bachelorette party, my 27th birthday, and being overall anxious for our June wedding date – luckily Miami does have plenty of margaritas!

I can't wait to watch this year unfold and I would love to hear from you about your big 2016 plans. Are you sticking to your resolutions? Give me the scoop! Either way, I hope this year brings you just as much joy (and tequila) as it's shaping up to bring me. <3

Port: Feliz 2016, gentchyyy!! Nem acredito que chegamos aqui! Dei um tempinho rápido do aqui no blog pra dar uma descansada e aproveitar a família durante as férias, mas agora estamos de volta à rotina! Não esquece de me seguir no Instagram e Snapchat @bruntunes pra estar por dentro sempre!

Estou sempre tão feliz e grata pelo apoio e carinho que recebi em 2015 – foi de longe o melhor ano pro StyleMile. Cheguei a jantar na mesma mesa que Lena Dunham em Hollywood, conheci a Meghan Trainor em Detroit e fui no backstage dela, e também saí na revista Marie Claire. Bom, foi um ano maravilhoso!  

Mas 2016 também vai trazer grandes coisas: começando pelo casamento, daqui menos de 5 meses! Ahh! Mês que vem eu viajo para um destino desconhecido com o pessoal do trabalho na Ignite Social Media. Nossa Mystery Trip só é revelada no aeroporto! :O Todo mundo fez aposta – eu só peço sol e tequila. 

Eu também irei para NYFW pela primeira vez em fevereiro (OMG!) Fiquem de olho na cobertura! E em abril, eu estou indo para Miami cazamigas pra minha festa de despedida de solteira, meu aniversário de 27 anos, e pra roer unhas na ansiedade do casamento em junho – que bom que em Miami tem margaritas!

Eu mal posso! 2016, vamos lá! Espero que este ano também traga muita alegria, amor, coisas boas (e um pouquinho de tequila) pra vocês também!  <3

Oh, the 90's. A time when schoolgirl appeal was as popular as Bill Clinton's extra-marital adventures – #BillNMon4Ever. Spaghetti straps, butterfly clips and midriffs flooded school hallways everywhere, to the horror and dismay of unprepared mothers who forgot they lived through the 70's. 

When it comes to the decade that happened surprisingly not 10 years ago, the nostalgia is real. And just like that one guy you met at a rave in your friend's cousin's basement, the 90's keep coming back.

So in 2015, I still crave 90's charm. To get my fix, I merged current trends with the Clueless decade. Like, Cher Horowitz would have totally loved this lewk. And instead of trusting Polaroids, she'd wait to hit at least 1,500 likes on Instagram before leaving the house.

Port: Ah, os anos 90. Um tempo tão apaixonado por sainhas colegiais quanto as aventuras extra-conjugais de Bill Clinton – Ainda shippava #Bill&Monica. Um tempo que vestidos de alcinha, clipes de cabelo de borboletas e umbigos reinavam e inundavam os corredores das escolas, para o desespero de mães que esqueceram que sobreviveram os anos 70.

A nostalgia da década, que aconteceu há (acreditem, mais de) 10 anos atrás, é enorme hoje em dia. E assim, como aquele carinha chato que você conheceu numa festa de clubbers, os anos 90 continuam dando as caras.

Agora em 2015, quis renovar a moda, sem perder o charme da década. Cher Horowitz, a patricinha mais famosa de Beverly Hills, amaria esse look. E ao invés de tirar fotos Polaroids, esperaria chegar a 1,500 likes no Instagram antes de sair de casa.

Clueless pra caramba? Até parece!

Hour Detroit's #BestDressed2015

Last night Detroit got fancy. Hour Detroit threw the 2015 Best Dressed Fashion Show presented by Somerset Collection and everyone went absolutely all out! The red carpet, delicious cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and company were great, but the highlight of the evening was indeed the fashion show curated by Neiman Marcus of Troy, MI. 

I covered the evening on Snapchat and Instagram @bruntunes (you're following me, right?!) but I have something even more special coming soon! Remus and I scored a ton of great footage and I can't wait to share another StyleMileTV video soon. Stay tuned!

Português: Ontem a chiqueza chegou em Detroit. A revista Hour Detroit realizou a festa e o desfile dos Best Dressed de 2015. Foi demais! O tapete vermelho, drinks maras e a gente bonita estavam ótimas, mas o grande destaque da noite foi, de fato, o desfile das tendências outono/inverno de curadoria da Neiman Marcus de Troy, MI.

Eu cobri a noite no snapchat e Instagram @bruntunes (já tá seguindo, né?!), mas eu tenho algo ainda mais especial pra mostrar super em breve! O Remus e eu gravamos mais um vídeo para StyleMileTV. Fiquem ligados!
