GETTING GRAPHIC

Eek! Still so excited about the new blog design. Squarespace is AWESOME.

Anyway, about the post: You just can't go wrong with a bold graphic print. They're really easy to pair with something neutral, or with colors that are found in the print itself. This particular one, from the Phillip Lim for Target collection was especially praised, for having been so similar to the graphic print in 3.1 Phillip Lim's main collection.  

Now that the temperatures are dropping, and we're able to start layering, it makes for some really fun combinations. Watch me be the queen of layering in the next few months, before I just entirely bundle up in a giant puffy coat and hibernate for the Michigan winter! Brrr!!

#CASUAL

My whole weekend was based around the fact I have been waiting SO LONG for the season 5B of Breaking Bad. Yes. I am dressed up like Heisenberg’s blue product… Just kidding. 

But I do love this blue - or not just blue, not turquoise. Not lapis. It’s actually cerulean - it has a certain je ne sais quoi that really makes you feel totally chic. Slap on some lip color and you’re good to spend a sunny Sunday comfy, casual, but chic.

Fun in the sun with friends!

What a great way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon. Eating hot dogs and sipping cocktails. It’s finally stopped feeling like we were time-warped back to February here in Michigan, and we were able to soak up the sun. 

I especially loved this summer outfit with the boots. Pulls it all together nicely and it makes me feel like a badass Lana Del Rey… And who am I to fight that feeling?
