Eek! Still so excited about the new blog design. Squarespace is AWESOME.

Anyway, about the post: You just can't go wrong with a bold graphic print. They're really easy to pair with something neutral, or with colors that are found in the print itself. This particular one, from the Phillip Lim for Target collection was especially praised, for having been so similar to the graphic print in 3.1 Phillip Lim's main collection.

Now that the temperatures are dropping, and we're able to start layering, it makes for some really fun combinations. Watch me be the queen of layering in the next few months, before I just entirely bundle up in a giant puffy coat and hibernate for the Michigan winter! Brrr!!

Sweatshirt: Phillip Lim for Target (not sold online, though) & [here] // Embellished Denim: Express [similar] // Handbag: Prüne Argentina // Faux Leather: H&M on sale! // Sunnies: Coach [similar] // Shoes: Valentino Rockstud Inspired from Torrid also on sale and kind of an amazing find, am I right?

Last week I gave you guys a sneak-peek of my shoot with Ken Hudak for The Blonde Collective. Well, let me just say I love these photos, not just because Mr. Hudak is an awesome photog, but because these tee’s are just too cool.

I love their simplicity and fun designs. The Blonde Collective is a local Detroit label that partners with designers and other creatives in the city to expand their work. I’m a huge sucker for anything that promotes the city of Detroit as the new growing creative hub it really is. So this opportunity couldn’t have been cooler!
