Hello StyleMile readers, are you still there-ere-ere-ere?

I know it’s been a while - but life happens when you’re trying to blog. I hope 2013 has been treating you all well enough already. Guess what I’ve been up to? Work, work, and a little more work. It’s swallowing me whole, I barely have enough time to even get dressed every morning, let alone take photos of what I’ve worn.

I can hardly believe January is already making its way out the door - where did the time go? It makes you think about all the little things you might be overlooking while you’re waiting for the clock to strike 5:30 so you can go home and lay on the couch until the alarm goes off the next morning. 

Today I paired these Express Jeans with a thrifted sweater (similar) and my Old Navy booties. For a big pop of color, this emerald green Old Navy peacoat and my new Kate Spade bag (similar). And can we talk about how adorable the Bianca Collar from Jewelmint (similar) is?

Yes, ladies and gents. I’m back (yet again).

Welcome back to life after Thanksgiving! How is everyone handling their food coma? 

I’m actually trying to start some sort of make-shift diet & workout plan. I’ve been getting kind of lazy and less picky about what I’m eating. And that ain’t good!

Aside from all the food, I had a great holiday with my family. Lots of time to relax and reflect on who and what I’m most thankful for. I am so lucky to have the family I have, even though they drive me nuts sometimes. :)

Of course I also did some shopping over the break, and snagged me this great pair of Oxblood Skinnies from Seven7 - the super hot color trend of the season. It really does go nicely with chilly weather. Brrr!
