Everyone has dog days. Those days you don’t really know how you’re going to peel yourself off the bed, climb out from under the covers, and face the day. Some of us, however, are lucky enough to have someone who is there to shove the coffee in our faces (sometimes quite literally). And if you have a swing set right outside your door, that also helps. :)

You can plan for a lot in your life. But you can’t really plan when the joie de vivre will quietly exit the building. At that point, you must put on your running shoes and chase the bitch down the street. And you know what? She’s not that great of a runner.

So if you try, you will always catch up with her. And try you must; don’t just wait around. Get out of that funk and just get funky instead.
