SCHOOL SPIRIT

So today was a very interesting day. I keep using the term déjà vu to describe how I felt. I drove down a highway my wheels hadn’t been on for about a year. I rode up a familiar elevator. I recognized faces and places. It was the Advertising Portfolio Day at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, where I graduated from about a year ago. 

I was there with my art director and lovely friend Sarah, representing the agency we work for, to recruit new creatives. It was surreal to flip sides, to be in someone else’s shoes this time around.

And of course I had to I top off my Quatro de Mayo with a trip to my favorite after-school bar, Northern Lights - and a Stella.

Déjà weird.
