#TeenChoice Awards 2014

I think it's safe to say I have a pretty cool job. One that takes me to events like the 2014 Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles, California so I can cover on social media what's taking place on-site. Amongst all the numbers, metrics, analytics and craziness (and the shoddy cell phone service), the life of a community manager can be pretty cool.

While there, I saw many of the hot teen celebs, like Ansel Elgort and the whole cast of "The Fault in Our Star", Taylor Swift still and the Kardashians somehow.

Port: Já falei alguma vez que eu curto meu trabalho? Bom, dessa vez, eu fui enviada para fazer uma cobertura pelas mídias sociais do Teen Choice Awards 2014, em Los Angeles, California. Embora todos os números, análises e a mais pura loucura que foi cobrir um evento ao vivo (com sinal podre no celular), não dá pra reclamar.

No domingo, eu vi muitas das celebrities "teen" que estão mais bombando no momento, como Ansel Elgort e o resto do elenco do filme "A Culpa É das Estrelas," Taylor Swift ainda e as Kardashians sei lá porquê.

But guys, let's be serious. I was really worried about what I was gonna wear - I mean, I can't have Kendall Jenner judge me (even though she probably did. No just kidding, she didn't see me.). I wanted a dress that was fun and flirty, but that I could still feel comfortable in, as I ran around capturing content all night. Once again, Rent The Runway came to the rescue (getting a Pro Account for this event-filled summer was the best thing I ever did.)

Mas gente, vamos falar sério, né? Minha preocupação maior era decidir numa roupa. Não ia rolar ficar toda desarrumada pra Kendall Jenner ficar me mandando beijinho no ombro (mas ela nem me viu, gente. #poxa ). Fui atrás de um vestido divertido e ao mesmo tempo ladylike, mas que fosse confortável na correria do evento. O site Rent The Runway me salvou novamente com um vestido lindo que caiu super bem.

Lots of caffeine were consumed during this trip.

However, my favorite encounter wasn't even on the red carpet, but in my hotel lobby. I met Bill Hader while I was having breakfast at The Fairmont in Santa Monica. Basically I just wanted to scream "Do the luau!" But we did a selfie. <3

Mesmo assim, o melhor momento não foi no tapete vermelho, mas sim no lobby do hotel. Encontrei com o ator Bill Hader, enquanto eu estava tomando café no Fairmont em Santa Monica. E a gente tirou uma selfie. <3

My big, long, Greek summer

I shared this gorgeous dress on my Instagram last weekend and you guys were all like #OMGWhereDidYouGetThat. So here it is! I LOVE a good deal, and I love it even more when the deal comes with something as special as this pretty summer dress.

With the help of coupons, for $11 (yes, eleven American Dollars) at Kohl's, we can all look like Greek Princesses, launching all kinds of ships as the summer winds down.
