I am jumping for joy, dancing without music, and flipping around on the lawn over a short work week. Ha!

I unfortunately didn’t realize soon enough my company was not giving us the 5th and the 6th off, so I will be stuck in town. Which shouldn’t be a bad deal. I feel like exploring Metro Detroit a little more. And while I’m at it, it may result in a post or two about places to visit. Who knows? :) We’ll see how it works out.

I have a special outfit planned for tomorrow. Get ready for Uncle Sam and fireworks!

GETTING REDDY

After a lovely weekend, I am ready for July. It’s a little bit depressing, though, to realize we’re already in July… Summer is my favorite season of the year and in Michigan, it’s half-way over by now *tear*. But that doesn’t mean I won’t enjoy every waking second of it that I can.

This weekend was my brother-in-law’s birthday and we celebrated Friday night with the family, and Sunday afternoon with a Brazilian barbecue with friends. On Saturday, I spent the day with Ana and got to raid her closet for this adorable outfit. Oh, and of course, we went to see Magic Mike. It was uh… magical. :)
