I was looking for the perfect combination of sexy & comfortable in a maxi dress, and I think I hit jackpot with this one. A maxi that doesn't look frumpy or too careless is hard to find. Also, can we talk about how this dress somehow magically makes me look a whole foot taller (no, it was definitely not the heels haha)?

The paisley print and the tousled beach waves tied it all together in a nice little boho bow. So boom, call me Janis Joplin, minus the drugs.

Port: Estava eu, sempre à procura de um maxi dress perfeito. Queria um que misturasse uma pegada mais sexy e com a facilidade desse tipo de vestido. E podemos dizer que acertei em cheio com esse aqui! Além de tudo, ainda me deixou bem mais alta (não, definitivamente não foi o salto! kkkk).

Essa estampa meio vintage e o cabelo "beach wave" também ajudou a criar um look bem boho. Já pode ir me chamando de Janis Joplin, só que sem as dorrrgas.

Give her the right t-shirt, and she'll kick off her shoes and bolt after her dreams. This is the message The Power Collection from DSR Apparel sends to women all over - especially in Detroit. A portion of the proceeds goes directly into The Empowerment Plan, an amazing non-profit that hires previously homeless women to make sleeping bag coats for homeless people.

THE GREAT GATSBY

It's not every day you get to be part of such an amazing celebration. I'm already a huge sucker for weddings and my mascara always runs during the ceremony - but traveling back in time like this was the cherry on the cake!

For Amy & Antonio's wedding, there was a 1920's theme and it was so exciting to see that everyone got so wildly into it. The reception was beautiful, the food and drinks were flowing and we had loads of fun!

My dress and accessories were all so beautiful, I couldn't have been happier with my choices. The glamour and glitz of the Old Hollywood era made the night feel almost surreal. Daisy Buchanan would have been proud. :)

Port: Não é sempre que rola uma festa incrível como essa. Eu que já amo casamentos e sempre tenho que investir no rímel à prova de lágrimas (hehe), me surpreendi com nossa "viagem de volta no tempo."

O casamento de Amy & Antonio teve tema de Anos 20, e foi realmente muito bacana ver que todo mundo se empolgou tanto quanto eu pra festa! A cerimônia e festa foram lindas, comida estava sensacional (feijoada e brigadeiro!!!) e até a banda cantava em português.

Nunca me senti tão glamurosa, estilo Old Hollywood, com o vestido e acessórios perfeitos! Daisy Buchanan teria se orgulhado. :)
