I am totally engrossed in Lana Del Rey today. Her new album Paradise was just released on Spotify and I can’t stop listening to it. The woman is amazing and a HUGE style icon. *swoon* Kind of drawing inspiration from her Blue Velvet H&M video with this chunky sweater. It’s perfect to layer with especially in this weather. It was snowing this morning! :)

TIGER LOVE

My friends Jordana & Zach got married this weekend, at Comerica Park! It was such an amazing experience to be there on our own. Very surreal to see the empty seats and the bright lights. 

The craziest part was that their engagement photograph, which I shot, was up on the scoreboard the entire time. Whaatt!!?? It was insane. Location awesomeness aside, we all had a great time, the wedding was beautiful and Jordana was a gorgeous & stunning bride. Pedro even maybe asked me to dance. :)

I usually tend to get emotional at weddings, and this one especially for different reasons. It made me think of all the people that come and go from my life. Having friends from all over the world makes it so that some are always moving away. You make memories and then they go. Jordana is getting ready to move to Wisconsin, another one of my good friends moved to Germany, my whole family is in Brazil, and the list goes on. And when technology is supposed to be bringing us together, it actually sometimes helps keep people apart. Even the ones that are close. 

Don’t keep your friends & relationships only in the digital world. It’s too cold, apathetic. See them, hug them, love them. Because you never know when the next one is moving away. Maybe it will even be you.
