OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

I’ve decided to kick my editing up a notch for this post. Because while professionally, I am a copywriter, my path to getting there included {countless} hours with my head buried in Photoshop, InDesign, and the likes. And although I do get to work within those programs every once in a while, it’s nice to be able to just have fun with it.

I particularly like how I sort of look like a wax figure in some of these photos. Ha. They’ve got an Alice in Wonderland feel to them. And who doesn’t have a little bit of the Queen of Hearts in them? Off with their heads!

MAROON NUMBER

I got this little Maroon lace dress back earlier this year, and I’ve always been so in love with it. It’s super sweet and romantic, and perfect for a semi-fancy dinner night. Not to mention it’s from Elle and the Sea and they have amazing customer care. This came gift-wrapped and had my name handwritten on the packaging. Hello, adorable!??!

Anyway, this was a weekend spent under the sun. Literally, my favorite kind. Saturday afternoon was spent on Commerce Lake on my friend Cassandra’s boat sippin’ margaritas, and Sunday I went to a waterpark with Pedro and dinner with some gf’s. Of course you could say I’m a little sunburnt now, but I prefer to call it sun-kissed! :*

SMARTY PANTS

It’s finally Friday and I’m able to catch my breath for a minute. I had some great news this week, and I’m very happy about them, even though I was working like a chicken with my head cut off. Well, now that everything calmed down, I’m getting ready to enjoy the weekend ahead. 

This outfit was a little bit on the serious/preppy side, not necessarily my main style choice, but I had fun with it and liked the outcome. Plus I always love to wear Pedro’s shirts around. Haha! Sorry honey, but they’re too comfy. :)
