The Superhero Dress

Every summer I get into a fashion slump of sorts. As I stand in front of my overflowing walk-in, I stare at my clothes and scream that age-old line, the one women from here to the Himalayas tend to use every once in a while, to everyone's frustration and misunderstanding:
"I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!"
I'm not sure if it's the heat, or the need to innovate the sundress/shorts/tee-shirt formulas, but I always feel like I'm trapped. A damsel in style distress, I need a fashionable rescue. Something that would revive my mojo, and get me out of this emergency.
Is it a romper? Is it flash tattoos? NO! It's this amazing cape dress!
Todo ano nessa época eu fico de bode total com minhas roupas! Fico ali, paradinha, olhando pro meu closet transbordando de roupas, até que me dá aquele desespero e eu grito aquela famosa frase que todas as mulheres conhecem e já gritaram também, daqui até a China:
"EU NÃO TENHO O QUE VESTIR!"
Eu não sei se é o calor, ou o desejo de inovar aquela velha fórmula vestidinho/shorts/t-shirts, mas sempre bate aquela agonia. Viro a "donzela em perigo" da moda, precisando de um resgate urgente dessa emergência.
É um macaquinho? É aquela tattoo douradinha? NÃO! É este vestido de capa incrível!

This Adrianna Papell dress, very classic and almost somber in nature, gave me life! I found a way to break it down with the different metallics and colors. The silver in the shoes plus the iridescence in the clutch, necklace and sunnies were a risk I took, which I think totally paid off.
Esse vestido da Adrianna Papell, super clássico e sóbrio, ficou vidaaa! Eu dei um jeito de deixá-lo mais descontraído com as diferentes peças metálicas e coloridas. O prata no sapatos mais o colorido da bolsa, do colar e dos óculos foi meio que arriscado (poderia dar muita informação), mas deu super certo no final.
